Kathmandu. There will be 17.7 million more voters in the local level election, the election scheduled for April 12 in Nepal.
The Election Commission has fixed the final voter list on Sunday. Accordingly, there are 1,77,333,723 voters in the April 12 election.
Out of which 89 lakh 92 thousand 10 are male voters and 87 lakh 41 thousand 530 are female voters. Similarly, there are 183 voters in others.
According to Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari, the highest number of voters is 715,223 in Morang and the lowest is 6,496 in Manang.
The commission has prepared the list of final voters in coordination with all 753 local levels and all 77 election offices. The commission has stated that the names cannot be changed from the list after the final list is published.
