KATHMANDU: Members of the House of Representatives elected in the February 21 polls have taken the oath of office and secrecy.<\/p>\n

The oath-taking ceremony was held on Thursday afternoon at the multipurpose hall of the under-construction Parliament building in Singha Durbar, where senior-most member Arjun Narsingh KC administered the oath to the lawmakers.<\/p>\n

Earlier on Wednesday, KC had taken the oath of office from President Ram Chandra Paudel. Following this, he administered the oath to the remaining 274 members of the House. A total of 47 lawmakers took the oath in their respective mother tongues.<\/p>\n
