An 8-point commitment has been made in Gurans Rural Municipality. This commitment was made at a public hearing organized by Gurans Rural Municipality and facilitated by Star Innovation and Research Center Pvt. Ltd.

The program included in-depth discussions on various public interest issues including services provided by the municipality, development and construction, education, health, and tourism.
In the public hearing, commitments were made to make the government technology and people-friendly, improve health services, solve the drinking water problem, improve education quality, and protect and stabilize the Raute people.

The public hearing was facilitated by journalist Lalit Bahadur Budha, while Chairman Top Bahadur BC (chief accountability speaker) answered questions from the public.
Chief Administrative Officer Dil Bahadur Poudel and the heads of thematic branches have also responded to citizens’ questions.





While the issue of good governance at the local level is weakening, Gurans Rural Municipality has been conducting activities including public hearings, social audits, and annual reviews every year, saying that it is its duty to promote transparency, accountability, and responsibility.
