What is a booster dose against corona ? And who will take it ?

Kathmandu. The government has decided to give a “booster dose” against Covid-19 only to six types of patients and people aged 60 and above.

Refusing to call it a ‘booster dose’, the Nepali government has named it an ‘extra dose’. To get a booster dose, you need to contact a health facility with a vaccine card.

The government has issued notice to give another dose of vaccine to those who have been vaccinated for three months.

Who takes the ‘booster dose’ ?
1) People with moderate to severe disease.
2) Active cancer patients.
3) People who have had organ transplants.
4) Patients with HIV
5) Patients taking immunosuppressive drugs during treatment.
6) Verocell and Synoform vaccinated.
7) People 60 years and above.
