KATHMANDU — Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) has returned to Nepal after participating in the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Prime Minister Shah was received by Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung and other government officials.
The Prime Minister had departed for the United States on Tuesday evening to attend the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations Headquarters.
During the General Assembly, Shah addressed the UNGA on 24 September, highlighting Nepal’s priorities on climate action, sustainable development and international cooperation.
Having completed his official engagements at the United Nations, Prime Minister Shah returned home on Saturday.
