Kathmandu. Twenty-five Nepali players have been selected for a friendly match between the Thai national team and Chonburi Club on March 24 and 27.
According to the head coach of the Nepali national football team Abdullah Almutairi, Tikendra Thapa, Deep Karki, Anish Lama, Ayush Ghalan, Ananta Tamang, Anjan Bista, Eric Bista, Prashant Awasthi, Navin Gurung and Darshan Gurung along with captain Kiran Kumar Limbu have been decided for the friendly match.
Similarly, Nitin Thapa, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Gautam Shrestha, Pujan Uparkoti, Santosh Tamang, Akash Budhamgar, Suman Aryal, Suman Lama, Sudip Gurung, Surajju Thakari, Tej Tamang, Subash Gurung, Rohit Chand and Jagjit Shrestha have also been selected for the friendly match. They have been called for training.
Nepal is playing a friendly match against the Thai national football team on March 24 and the local club Chonburi on March 27. The game will be played in Chongburi, Thailand, according to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
According to ANFA, the Nepali football team is going to play a friendly match against Thailand in preparation for the selection of AFC Asian Cup 2023. The Nepali national football team had earlier won two friendly matches against Mauritius at Darshath Stadium.
