A 3 days training on “Igniting Positive Thinking Training” for Chaukune Rural Municipality executives and senior staff members was conducted on 20th– 22nd May in ChaukuneSurkhet. The program was organized and managed by the Karnali Province Training Academy in collaboration with Chaukune Rural Municipality. The training was facilitated by The CEO/Trainer Dr. RC Lamichhane of Eastern Research Institute of Positive Science (ERIPS). Total 3o persons including executive members and seniors staff participated in the training. The primary objective of the training was to instill a positive mindset, enhance teamwork, and improve workplace morale. The session included interactive lectures, group discussions, and practical exercises designed to shift negative thought patterns to positive ones and encourage a culture of support and collaboration.
Participants engaged enthusiastically in activities such as mindset transformation exercises, role-playing scenarios, vision building excercises and reflection sessions. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the practical benefits of the training. Attendees reported an increased understanding of the importance of positive thinking, improved stress management, and a stronger sense of camaraderie among colleagues. This was the unique and important training, which is instisting to transfrom our whole thinking system. Now we can search the positive possiblity in every adverse situaiton.” Said Nirmala Ojha, the officer of the municipality.
In conclusion, the training effectively achieved its goals, leaving a lasting positive impact on the participants. The success of this session paves the way for future trainings to further reinforce and expand on these concepts, promoting a sustained culture of positivity within the municipal workforce. Based on the positive feedback, it is recommended to schedule follow-up sessions and integrate positive thinking practices into regular team activities and organizational policies.
